The Meerkats

For me, there is no question that the 22nd January 2013 was in the top 5 best days of my life. And certainly the experience of feeding meerkats (one if my all-time favourite animals) was one of the greatest. To feed them in the snow was an even more special!

As you can see from the photos, they were climbing all over me. Not being allowed to stroke them was acceptable as they brushed up against me. The cutest little animals ever. Domino (my dog, although not little!) excluded, obviously!

I was able to feed them outside and then the privilege of sitting in their nest with them! A meerkat-lovers dream!
