Monitor > TV

Been working at D2 up in Crawley this week. Really happy with the progress on a few of the projects. A great perk from the job was a cheap monitor at a discounted price. It came at a perfect time, since our TV died last month.

The TV was a Sony 32″ Bravia that we purchased with some of our wedding money. It lasted less than five years. Very disappointing from Sony, but it’s out of warranty, so the cost of fixing it was the same as buying a monitor. I love that the both monitors and TVs use HDMI now. My new monitor is actually better resolution than my old TV. Crazy. Ah well. Sony, we’re 1:1 now. Let’s see what else you’ve got.
