My Dream 12 Days of Christmas

Ok so that wonderful time of the year is fast approaching. We all know what I’m talking about, yes, the 12 days in which iTunes gives away 12 free things from their ever-growing library of songs, TV shows, films, books and applications. It’s like Santa in the shape of an apple.

Every year I look online to check to see if they are doing it again and every year I’m met with no information whatsoever. And surprise, surprise, this year is no different. But whether they do and whether they don’t do an “iTunes 12 days of Christmas 2011/2012”, I’m excited regardless. And I thought to myself, (what a wonderful world.. but also) what would be the ultimate iTunes 12 days of Christmas?

Rules for the dream-list:
It must already be in the iTunes store.
They must have given away something of equal value in the past.
It can’t be anything they have given away in the past.
Whether I own the item already must not play into my final decisions.

So here we go.

On the first day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
An Only Fools and Horses Christmas special. Specifically? Mother Nature’s Son.

On the second day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
Infinity Blade iPhone app. (likely, because they have just released the sequel).

On the third day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
A Michael Buble Christmas EP, featuring the best from the Christmas album.
Ok so technically this isn’t the iTunes store at the moment, but the album is. So if not the EP, then the whole album.

On the fourth day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
An iBook of one of the Narnia series. Lets go with number one: The Magician’s Nephew (I’d settle for any of them though).

On the fifth day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
A Coldplay track and Music video. Paradise would be a welcome choice.

On the sixth day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
The Uno iPhone app.

On the seventh day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
A classic film. Perhaps Anchorman? (It’s possible, for the last two years, we have received one full-length film amongst the gifts).

On the eighth day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
A random episode of “How I met your mother”. Personal classic: “The Sexless Innkeeper” (S05e03)

On the ninth day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
Owl City – Alligator Sky Single (with additional remix, please)

On the tenth day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
Lord Sugar’s Autobiography: “What You See Is What You Get” iBook.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
Cut the Rope: Experiments iPhone app.

On the twelfth (and final) day of Christmas, I’d like iTunes to give to me:
An iTunes gift card worth £50.

If you don’t like my list. I’m not offended. Because you can go and make your own.
You never know, if you wish upon an iStar, you may just get what you want…
