Walking Dead Easter Egg
Spoiler alert. Walking Dead S05E02-03.
If you’re a Walking Dead fan, and you haven’t started season 5 yet. You may want to skip over this post and come back once you have. It’s no major spoiler but it does say a few things you may want to see on the show first. I’m referring to episode 3 (but it could well be in episode 2 as well).
There’s no hiding it, I’m a Walking Dead fan. Admittedly I’m a little bit of a newbie in that I chain-watched all the first four seasons this year with my wife. So although, I’m fully up to date – I haven’t been there since the beginning – nor have I read the comics. Newbie perhaps, but keen fans for sure. So both my wife and I got really excited when we spotted the five scripture verses up on the church walls during the latest episode (the spoiler there is that they are now in a church – revealing how quickly they escape the cliff-hanger of season 04).

Romans 6:4 — We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father.
Ezekiel 37:7 — So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
Matthew 27:52 — And the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.
Revelation 9:6 — During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.
Luke 24:5 — In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?
